Terms of Service

01. Reservations

We only accept reservations from the Jalan play experience site. As a general rule, please make a reservation at least 2 days in advance. Questions and answers regarding reservations will be answered during our business hours (9:00 to 18:00).

02. Payment

Please pay by card from Jalan's site.

03. Cancellation fee

All dates are based on our business hours (9:00 to 18:00).
2 days to 1 day before: 50% of the rental fee
On the day / No contact cancellation 100% of the rental fee

04. Establishment and Cancellation of Rental Contracts

The rental contract will be concluded when the reservation for Jalan is completed. However, if there is an event that cannot be rented due to a problem or breakdown of the bicycle, we may ask you to cancel the reservation.

05. Bicycle delivery

Please keep the key in the manager's room, and check and confirm the following items at the bicycle storage area. (Tire pressure, saddle height, brake effectiveness, bell ringing, light, steering wheel bend) We rent bicycles, wire locks, and helmets as a set.

06. Bicycle return

Please return it by the scheduled time and business hours (9:00 to 18:00). If you exceed the business hours, you will be charged an extension fee.

07. Bicycle breakdown

Regarding punctures and other failures during use, please repair at the customer's expense. In that case, please contact our shop. Affiliated bicycle shop (Takemura Shoten)077-562-0866) will also be supported. There is also a bicycle loading service called Biwaichi Rescue by a taxi company in the prefecture. 08. Bicycle theft or loss

If you leave the bicycle while using it, please lock it and use the wire lock. In the unlikely event that it is stolen or lost, please notify the police immediately and contact us. If it is stolen or lost due to the customer's responsibility such as unlocked, we will claim the damage amount. We will do the same for equipment such as keys.

09. Accident

If you have an accident while using the service, please report it to the police station immediately, take the measures stipulated by law, and report the details of the accident to us. In the event that damage is caused to the Company or a third party due to reasons attributable to the customer, the customer is responsible for compensating for this.

***10. Insurance***

In Shiga Prefecture, it is stipulated by the ordinance that you should take out bicycle liability insurance when driving a bicycle. We kindly ask that you take out insurance on your own.

If you get sick on the way, or if you get a flat tire or break down, we also offer the following services.
